Quiet Time Busy Soft Interactive Cloth Activity Book

Both my toddler and my one year old get great use out of this book. Plenty of activities to enjoy. I use it mostly for car rides and I'd say it keeps the kids busy for at least 30 minutes. Though I keep finding the little apples in random locations around my house, lol.

This book has been wonderful for my toddler daughter who has down syndrome. Her occupational therapist agrees! And, of course, this book would be wonderful for any other child too. Some of the activities are easier & a couple are more advanced, which is good, because it provides a challenge. The only thing I would change is the order of the pages. When you first open it up it has some ribbons on the first page that tend to get stuck on the velcro that's on the page facing it. So one of the ribbons has frayed. It does have some small pieces that are easy to lose, but it comes with a mesh carrying bag to help everything stay together. I think this book is almost perfect!

I think this book has great intentions, is a great 1.0 version, but needs some improvement. The book fabric and activity pages are very well make. It definitely doesn't feel cheap. The size in great for a toddler, and the handles are large and puffy. But I feel like the age of the activities are very inconsistent- some stuff are geared more towards an older toddler/little kid and other pages are geared more towards an older baby/new toddler. For example, my almost 4 year old uses this book. The first page with all the ribbons and a zipper she breezes past, and same with the feely owl. I feel like the feely pages are more for a 1-1.5 year old (or younger). And the page with the car- the road should have had a few different connecting roads so that they can decide which way to go. Following the same path over and over is a bit too mundane and lacks creativity. But then there is the clock, lacing string, a buckle and button, and number recognition- things that are geared for an older toddler/little kid. So I feel like half the book is geared for my 4 yr old and the other half for a 1-2 yr old. I would rather see them make 2 different books - one for an older toddler and one for a younger toddler/older baby with different age-appropriate (or skill-appropriate) activities in each- one easier, one more challenging.
Additionally, I had to snip the corners of all the velcro pieces within the book because the corners were very sharp. They should have used round velcro pieces instead of square. Because if I found them sharp, I'm sure a kid would, too.
Plus, every time we close and open the book, the yellow ribbon on the first page gets stuck to the velcro piece on the dinosaur on the opposing page, causing the material to pull and ruin. I feel like that is a user-testing detail that they should have been able to figure out prior to production, but also something easily rectified.
Lastly, I find the velcro closure on the backside of the book a bit weird, because I would expect it on the front, but that I can overlook.

my 2-year old son loves his new busy book! there are so many different fun sensory things for the little ones to concentrate on. very good quality as well!

This book is great for learning and using fine motor skills. Its a soft book so if they throw or drop there is no damage to anything. Inside are different things the kids can do such as tie, zip, snap, Velcro, count and button. All things kids need to learn how to do. The only negative, is that the smaller felt material numbers that are velcrod on that are used for counting fell off easily and eventually were lost after a short period of use. My 18 month old wasnt as engaged to want to play with this frequently but my 8 year old loved using it! I think my little one will have more interest around the 24 mth age.
